At MONASH UNIVERSITY: Operating conveniently from within the Centre Hub at the Monash University Peninsula Campus, Monash Catering is not only local, but strategically placed to deliver promptly to all departments and faculties, across Melbourne.

Highly equipped and recently renovated and fully refurbished, Monash Catering operates circa 500 m² of professional production kitchen, and proudly hosts a dozen professionally qualified and experienced chefs and gourmet caterers, to ensure your function is individually tailored, tantalizing, economically customized, and beautifully presented.


Monash Catering has an international array of experienced chefs who can provide authentic international delights that will dazzle your taste buds. Using only the freshest produce, real spices, specialised chefs and personalised care, these are our ingredients for success. We provide either simple delivery or a fully catered service for all occasions, yet at the same time, flexible enough to cater to your individual needs

MC is very passionate about presentation, freshness, taste and quality. We uphold strict industry standards such as "MSG FREE" kitchens, use of pure rice oils and premium cotton seed oils for frying, use of extra virgin olive oils, ultra low salts, no use of preservatives, and natural unprocessed organic raw products wherever available, regardless of our purchase costs.

The extensive facilities at MC are currently Halal Certified, and certificates are always available upon request. Diets customary to Kosher standards are individually prepared and packaged separately offsite, in a Kosher Certified Kitchen, and delivered in segregated units, very clearly labelled, and remain sealed to be opened only by the intended recipient, to ensure gastronomical and spiritual satiety.

We boast some of Melbourne’s leading professional chefs, seasonally experienced, from various origins to create the authentic original flavours from around the world including Indian, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Malaysian, English, Australian, and both European and Mediterranean varieties.

MC encourages continuous professional development of all catering staff, and promotes an “ever learning” attitude, and fervent desire to be Melbourne’s leading catering company. MC staff training programs including Cert III in Hospitality, Cert IV in Catering, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and Food Safety Handling from Holmesglen Tafe, Queen Victoria Market Training (subsidiary of City of Melbourne) & William Angliss Institute. All backed by our "Service Guarantee".

MC is registered with Monash City Council Public Health Department (#2942), and holds a full catering liquor licence with Victorian Commission for Gambling & Liquor Regulation (Licence 361.00549). FSTC Certificates held from Feb 2002, with City of Melbourne, ID 3703, and Food Handler Number 13638, 13639. Certificates available anytime on request. MC also maintains several modern delivery vehicles, and extensive commercial mobile equipment. Events can be easily catered for 7 days a week, including evenings, night events, and any time on weekends, day or night. MC is fully insured by Lumley Insurance.
